We discovered Dan Zanes last summer when he came to London with his band Dan Zanes and Friends. Dan used to be a singer for the Del Fuegos in the 80’s and came to kid’s music with an inspired agenda…to create cool rockin’ music for kids and families. If you are lucky enough to have tickets to see Dan Zanes and Friends perform this easter at Queen Elizabeth’s Hall in London (10-13 April 2009) you are in for a treat. His last show was great fun and had everyone laughing out loud and rockin’ in the aisles . If you can’t make it to a show you don’t have to miss out completely because Dan is coming here to Olive Loves Alfie to do a signing on Saturday 11th April 2009 at 11am.

We don’t want to grow up!
No Added Sugar’s new look book arrived today and the long and short of it is that we love it as much as we love their Spring Summer 09 collection. Its printed on newsprint paper in newspaper format and is packed with great photography. Our very own press bunny should have been working but she just couldn’t put it down! The collection has ‘grown up’ and by popular demand is now going up to age 12. We just wish that some of the pieces were big enough for us to wear too. If I was you I would get hold of a copy of the look book before they all disappear.
Our selection from their collection is already available in our boutique and will be available from our website next week.

Photo Shoots
How many photo shoots can you do in one week? Last week we had 3 interior shoots at home; one for Sunday Times Style, one for Junior Magazine and one for a new Japanese interior book on British Style. We finished off the week by doing a still life shoot with local photographer and friend Nicola Hippisley for our on-line shop. New collections from Katvig, Ej Sikke Lej and MiomyMio will be available on our on-line shop in time for the weekend.
