We have been working with General Pattern on a couple of projects.  We launched our Bespoke Name project  last summer having been inspired by vintage toys and games especially 50’s wooden bulding blocks.  With a mutual love of letters we chose to use the playful and decorative element of with a circus inspired font.   Each print is digitally printed  and comes framed or unframed in a mount.  The frame or mount measures approx 20″ in length by 10″ in height.  The framed pictures are £45 and unframed they cost £35.    The un-framed prints can be sent out within the UK for an additional £6 and can be produced in any colours to match either swatches or pantone references.  If you are in Liberty, Regent Street go and check out General Patterns prints that are now on sale there too.

boo1Yeah the new SS09 collection from Boo Foo Woo in Japan has arrived and we love it.  The jackets are reversible with oversized coloured enamel poppers and everything comes along with a knitted or beads badge or key-ring.  It isn’t on line yet but you can call the store for details.

So along came Dan Zanes with his unmistakable hair and his banjo case.  All the way from Brooklyn to Olive Loves Alfie by way of London’s South Bank to meet the kid’s and parents who love his music.  Dan came to hang out and have some fun.  He signed copies of his albums,  played his banjo, sang a few songs and bought some copies of Anorak the cool kid’s comic we sell here.  Then he wandered off with an Olive Loves Alfie sticker on his banjo case to play another show at South Bank.   The good news is we now have copies of The Welcome Table and Nueva York on sale for £10.
