Shoes have a magical quality that I have always loved, amongst many other things when I was growing up, I dreamt of being a shoe maker. Years later I was lucky enough to study shoe design at Cordwainers in London. It was a path that I followed for over 10 years that took me all over the world.
I am an advocate of beautifully crafted shoes and when it comes to children's shoes I am a purist. Dressing up shoes do have their place but every day shoes need careful consideration. Not only do the right shoes make you want to dance down the street but they also affect the health of your feet and your posture.
